2025 was a big year for G.A. Richards Group, filled with growth and grit. As we gear up for another successful year, we want to express our gratitude to both our loyal customers and our new relationships. Whether it was continuously meeting delivery expectations, surpassing quality expectations, or adapting to sudden change, we are proud to have partnered with each of you to bring your products to market.
We also want to give thanks to each of our employees who have shown the grit, self-discipline, and integrity it takes to show up, take accountability, and get the job done right.
Every team member displayed the flexibility and dedication we expect, adjusting to changing production demands and adopting new technologies while delivering quality results that exceeded expectations.
We would not have been able to celebrate 125 years of success without our customers’ trust and our team’s agility.
2025: A Year of Growth
A snapshot of what we were able to achieve thanks to you.
A Refreshed Website Reaches New Opportunities: To mark our 125 years of experience, we gave our website a complete overhaul, providing customers with a comprehensive overview of our services, capabilities, and experience. Historically, our customers only saw what our individual business units did—metal stamping, machining, heat treating, and wood fabrication. Now, we present a unified G.A. Richards Group, highlighting our comprehensive capabilities across commodities.
Named 2024–2025 Steelcase Premier Supplier: G.A. Richards Group was recognized as a premier supplier for Steelcase, an honor reserved for contract manufacturers that consistently exceed expectations in quality, precision, and on-time delivery.
Honored with the MillerKnoll Silver Supplier Achievement: For the second year in a row, we were honored to receive Silver Supplier status from the MillerKnoll group, an organization known for high-quality furnishings and a strict set of standards their suppliers must adhere to.
New Equipment Investments Required Unexpected Flexibility: Our team showed extraordinary resilience and adaptability throughout the chaos of replacing outdated equipment with newer models.
Our investments included:
- Brand new Haas CNC milling machines, which added more capacity and improved technology.
- Three Hydromat indexing table machines, increasing capacity for existing sleeve guide production.
- Increased training activities for this style of equipment, expanding our knowledge base to more effectively respond to new opportunities in the marketplace.
A special shoutout to the team at State Heat Treating for their ability to adapt to unexpected challenges during the installation of a new automated pusher furnace.
Improved Communication Timeliness and Accuracy: Through a combined effort of our front office staff and the team on the floor, we successfully launched a digital transformation of our shop flow with a new ERP system at our State Heat Treating facility, Steelhead. This system reduces our reliance on physical paperwork while enabling real-time communication with our customers and suppliers.
Expanded Recruitment Efforts: Production capacity wasn’t the only thing to grow this year. We welcomed several new team members throughout our organization, allowing us to further expand our capacity and better meet the needs of American manufacturing.
Continued Commitment to Quality: We successfully—and unsurprisingly—earned ISO/IATF recertifications. We also added inspection capabilities for automatic visual detection of defects, as well as the development of a modernized sorting system for part length.
